CURTAINS! The Christchurch Drama Group

The CURTAINS! drama group is now over ten years old. Worship at Christchurch has continued to be supported and we hope enhanced by our dramatic offerings. Enthusiastic people with an interest in any side of drama are always welcome at our fortnightly meetings on Tuesday at 8.00pm.

“Talk to the Hand” presents the gospel message in a lively way to all ages.

Hello everybody, Norris here. To tell you all about the wonderful work of the Christchurch Puppet Team now known as ‘Talk to the Hand’. Each year since we were formed we have been as busy as a bee at the Chelsea flower show. We have contributed to Sunday Worship at special times of the year and them Christian types were very polite and clapped when we had finished (I didn’t think you were supposed to do that in Church?) this is in addition to numerous concerts each year. Yet we still found time to hone our skills at the European Puppet Festival workshops and a local training session in Luton. There’s now over a dozen puppeteers in the group, and nearly all teenagers – and even that Tony Bloke’s a BIG kid at heart, so do come and see us if you can and you may find that you would like to join us. So do get in touch with that Tony bloke!
