Welcome to the Christchurch Website.

Christchurch is a lively community of more than 800 children and adults with diverse interests but bound together by friendship and a spiritual search.  About 300 of us have made a personal commitment to follow the example of Jesus Christ by becoming Church Members.

When asked what makes Christchurch special, the answers are almost always the same. People talk about friendship, provision for young people, a heart for music, a commitment to outreach and a space for their spiritual search.  There’s only one way to find out whether this is true: come along and experience the Christchurch community for yourself.  Our building is just 25 minutes walk from the Rail Station. It is located on Bedford Road in the centre of Hitchin, Hertfordshire next to the Registry Office and across the road from Waitrose.  In addition to Sunday Worship you can also call in between 10am – 3pm on Monday, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays or on Saturdays between 10am and 12noon for a coffee, a chat or a space to pray.  Want to send an email first?  Feel free to use the  contact form.
