Worship

We gather to worship God every Sunday at 10.30am, to focus ourselves on God, and to enter into the presence of God together. Worship of God, who is Father, Son and Spirit, is central to our life together as a church community. Of course, most of our worship occurs as we go about our ordinary daily lives, offering all that we are and do to God. You’ll need a few weeks to experience the richness of worship when we are together. For those unable to worship with us in person, we live-stream our 10.30am service (www.christchurchhitchin.org.uk/youtube) – from where you can also view the service later in the week.

On the first Sunday each month, we also offer a short, more traditional, service of Holy Communion in the Silver Birch lounge.

Accessibility

Christchurch has facilities for those with disabilities including level access, a disabled toilet, large print hymn books and an induction loop system for the Worship Area and the Main Hall.

For those unable to worship with us in person, we live-stream our 10.30am service (www.christchurchhitchin.org.uk/youtube) – from where you can also view the service later in the week.
Our 10.30am services, and several of our special services, are also recorded onto CDs and delivered to those who are housebound.  Copies are held in the Resources Library.

We offer a lift-sharing facility for those with limited mobility.
